As I was driving to work the other day, I was stuck in traffic and I thought to myself “Boy am I fed up with commuting. There must be a better way to earn a living without wasting so much time sitting in traffic every day”. Later that week, I was watching a YouTube video and an advert came on with this guy explaining how I could have an on-line digital marketing business. He seemed an honest guy who has been extremely successful in on-line marketing so I watched it to the end. What really caught my imagination was not so much the money that could be earnt (all sales guys say that), but that I could work from home, or anywhere with an internet connection, working the hours that I choose.
The guy in the video, Stuart Ross, offered a free 7-day video series that was very informative and the theory behind it seemed pretty simple. This has proven to be the case, although I will state that it is simple, but not easy. If it was easy then everyone would be doing it. Long story short, Stuart is now one of my mentors. Do you feel the same? Are you fed up with commuting? You may be very happy in your job, but feel that you have more to offer. Or maybe you might want to work from home, or anywhere that has an internet connection to allow you to travel and see the World while still growing your business. Or maybe time is the factor, and you would like to have more time to do the things that you love, like time with your family, time to travel, fitness, help others or whatever is your passion.
So what can you do if you are fed up with commuting?
If you are like me and want a more fulfilling lifestyle, this may be a solution worth investigating. I have chosen to pursue affiliate marketing where I can leverage the new digital economy. My working hours are flexible and it is truly fulfilling. I have found it to be very addictive and I am learning at a fantastic rate. It is not just learning all the tools necessary to run an online business, but also the culture change that must happen within me at a spiritual level.
