Creating your lifestyle of freedom is a huge goal which at first seems very daunting. Taking small steps every day turns this elephant of a goal into something that becomes much more achievable.
But even with having to only take small steps, it will at times seem too much for you and you will consider quitting.
As Jim Rohn says, you must have the discipline to carry on when things get tough.
There will be tough times, absolutely guaranteed. You will be trying new things, taking a few risks, pushing yourself. And there will be days when things aren’t going your way and you just think “Enough. I’ve had enough. I can’t do this anymore”
So when this happens, what do you do? Quit?
No, no, no.
Take a deep breath and remember why you are doing this in the first place. Remind yourself why you want freedom and how good it will feel when you achieve it.
How fantastic are you going to feel when you have the time to spend with your family whenever you choose? How great will it be when you can pack your suitcase on a whim and go on a cruise, just because you want to?
How joyous will you feel when you transfer a nice sum of money to your chosen charity to help the more needy?
This is why you want it. This is why you want it so much.
So… How do you feel now? Time to get back into creating your lifestyle of freedom?
That is discipline. And that is how you will move ever closer to reaching your goal.
Congratulations for not quitting, and keeping moving forward.
Dream big and take action 👍
