With 2018 coming to a close, it is time to take note of how much progress you have made through the year, and then get set for a blistering 2019. This is how…
I hope that your 2018 was super successful and you managed to achieve all of the goals you set at the beginning of the year.
Don’t feel bad if you didn’t, you are not alone.
The statistics of actually achieving New Years resolutions is horrendously poor. Most people have given up after only a few weeks into the new year.
Before setting your 2019 goals, it is a good idea to reflect on how you did in 2018. Feel proud of all of your achievements throughout the year.
Also, consider the goals you set that you didn’t achieve and give some thought as to why you were unsuccessful.
Now it is time to think about what you want to achieve in 2019.
If you are unsure about how to set good goals, you can read my earlier blog on SMART and DUMB goals here. It will give you a good idea of how to define a good goal.
Now consider why most people fail in their New Years resolutions every year. It is mostly because of the WHY.
WHY do you want to achieve that particular goal? Don’t consider the hard work or discipline you need to stick to it, but think just how fantastic you will feel when you do achieve it.
Remind yourself of your WHY every day. This will keep you going when the going gets tough and you know that there will be some tough days.
This will allow you to be one of the few that actually manage past February and stick through it to the end.
Of course, if you want to make it the best 2019 ever and you are prepared to make the investment to create your time and financial freedom, check out this link here.
