I am sure by now you are well aware of the importance of starting your day with a great…, or shall we call it a ‘miracle’ morning.
This is the subject of a fantastic book ‘Miracle Morning’, written by Hal Elrod.
If you are to start your day with a lethargic morning, the chances are that you will have an unproductive and pretty average day.
Whereas if you start your day with some quiet time in the form of meditation, repeating some affirmations, verbalising appreciation for all of the good things that you do have in your life, some exercise to get your blood pumping, and a healthy nutritious breakfast, you are most likely to have a very productive day with many successes.
You can also include reading for self-development and journalling for added benefits.
Why is the morning the best time? The main reason for this is that the day soon gets away from you and before you know it you run out of time in your day.
Also, you tend to have more energy and will-power early in the day.
Therefore, hitting it hard as soon as you rise is the best approach.
If you do not consider yourself a morning person, this book will give you plenty of motivation as the author, Hal, points out that we are only on this small planet for a relatively short time and we owe it to ourselves and others to always be giving our best.
To help you get the extra motivation you will need to start this habit, you will need a defined purpose for your life, or as I like to call it, your big ‘why’.
Your ‘why’ must be really big, much bigger than you in fact, so that any excuses you may have to not having the dedication to getting up early will all seem insignificant. There will be no excuses.
He also shares his story of recovering from a couple of serious incidents in his life where he could easily have given up and thrown in the towel, feeling sorry for himself.
But a conversation with a close friend causing him to realise that the magnitude of his success will be the result of the size of his self-development.
It was on this path that he realised that he had a great number of practices he wanted to incorporate into his life on a regular basis and the morning was the only time that he was able to find the time.
As he developed his morning routine and then shared it with others, he was able to assist a huge number of others to improve their lives.
So if you really want to make a success of your life and are considering starting a powerful morning routine, I highly recommend this book to get you started.
Also, if you are already starting your day off with a great morning routine, this book may offer some awesome ideas of how you may improve it.
