Lifestyle Upgrades: What Is The Heavy Price For Freedom?

I would guess that you are looking for freedom in your life, whichever flavour of freedom that may be for you.

But, like most things in life, there is a price to pay. And truth be told, it is a very heavy price.

That is why only 5% or so of the population end up going down this route.

It can’t be helped. Society is designed to do that so to break out of it is extremely tricky. Most people do not even realise that there is another way.

Following how society lays your life out for you is the easy way. Easy in that it has a path laid out for you and you just need to comply.

Although it is easy, it is not natural to humans. When we are young, we are entrepreneurs. We want to find solutions to problems.

Slowly the school system converts the 95% without them even knowing it. But they pay the price later in life in other ways.

Usually because they can’t find the happiness they want in their life as they are not fulfilled.

But I digress.

After school comes a job that is ok. It is pretty unusual and getting more so, to really be fulfilled by the work.

After a selection of jobs comes retirement where, if you are lucky, you can have enough savings and sufficient health to enjoy yourself for a few years before you leave the planet.

And in your final years, you can hopefully look back and reflect on an ok life with a few achievements. But will probably have a lot of missed opportunities to reflect upon.

At that stage of your life, it will be too late to do anything significant so you just have to settle with what you’ve got.

If you want to be in a position where you can look back at your life and be really proud of all that you have achieved, you need to keep taking action.

Recognise that it is tough to buck the system. Everything is set up for you to fail.

But you know that and you don’t care, right. Even more reason to keep pushing on through until you reach your goal.

Then on to the next goal, then the next. But always one step at a time.

I know that, at first, you want to succeed quickly. I certainly did. But I realise now that by doing that, you have not built up the resilience to tough out the next hurdle that will inevitably come along.

Those who are successful did not achieve success quickly or easily. They probably tried hundreds if not thousands of times to get where they are now.

Always trying new things, always getting out of their comfort zone no matter how hard it was.

Once you prove to the universe that you are not going to give up, you will be rewarded.

So wherever you are right now, keep on going.

If you are having it tough, be happy and proud, no matter how tough it is, that you are being tested this way. You always need to be growing and the harder you push yourself, the more growth you will encounter.

So hang in there buddy, do not stop until you reach your goal.

Dream big and take action ๐Ÿ‘
