Life is full of distractions and it takes a real concerted effort to not be drawn into social media, watching YouTube videos and the like.
Jack Canfield says that “if you don’t focus on how your time will be spent today, then somebody else will”.
And with our limited time on this wonderful planet, it is very important that we get away from the distractions and focus on actions that will get us closer to our goals.
So what is the best way to achieve this?
Firstly, write down some key areas of your life that you want to focus on. Add your purpose statement, some affirmations, and a meta-story about a short to medium-term goal.
It is best to read your purpose statement and the other messages immediately after meditating or any time during the day when you are relaxed.
This ensures that your subconscious will be more receptive to your new programming.
Reading it out loud is also important as it further aids your messages reaching your subconscious.
At a basic level, this simple practice ensures that you do not forget your purpose and your goals which could otherwise be slowly forgotten as your life marches onwards.
And at a deeper level, your subconscious is getting reminded regularly what it needs to focus on. By giving these daily messages it can work on your goals in the background.
If you have not done so already, take some time to write down your goals, your purpose statement and some affirmations. Searching the internet will soon give you some great ideas.
And start with the above practice right away.
I started this at the beginning of the year and I am even more focused on my goals now than I was when I started, which is way ahead of last year.
And here’s another tip from one of my mentors.
He is extremely successful, an 8-figure earner, and he puts his high level of success down to the fact that his life is very structured.
He plans each day out and by doing this, not only does he ensure that he is always taking action towards his goals, but he is also able to make sure that his life is equally balanced.
This is something that I will be working on in the future.
Continual improvements are the name of the game, right?
Incorporating these awesome habits into your life will reap great rewards.
As you focus on your goals daily and work with your subconscious, you will soon be manifesting the life that you deserve.
